It smells so bad! I got it used, and its broken, somewhat I just got a memory card for it yesterday (after about 3 weeks of waiting), and just tried it out this morning. WELL in Most Wanted, it couldn't find a memory card. Go figured. I put in Call of Duty: Finest Hour. It works. So I start the game, and when I get past the first checkpoint, I cleared out the elft pill box, I FELL THROUGH THE DAMN FLOOR AND DIED. I just gave up on that game. And the controller....dont get me started. When I look to the left (in game, using the one analog stick), it goes to the right instead. Then it gets stuck and I get shot at.

Heh. I wanna through it in a tub of water, but then I wouldn't have a PS2 no more. I'd have an Aquastation 2.

PS3 too much money. I got a second controller that worked fine, except for sticky buttons. My friend gave me one for free (I payed for most of a controller be bought) and it works perfect except for R and L 2 buttons. And on the R Analog stick, there isnt that cover thing on it. Otherwise its fine.

If your Playstation 2 is having problems with performance, I agree that buying a Playstation 3 would be the best decision, if you have the money. If not, you could buy a new PS2 for just a little more than $100.

[lie] I recommend bathing the PS2 in water, flammable oil, and with lots of oxigyn. [/lie]

As it turned out, when I got it, I had to push a laser disc thing back (where the game is, its behind it, it should be pushed back) and thats what was broken. The initial controller had a small crack in its side and a small line could be seen inside (it wasnt together completely). The R Analog Stick did not work right and buttons had to be pushed down all the way until it hurt your finger, instead of what you normally have to do (hard to explain). The second controller I got replaced that one, and the buttons were the same. I still have this and have another controller from a friend. All thats wrong is the L2 buttons does not always work. Right now my PS2 is fine, and I intend keeping it forever just as my Gamecube.

I hope your PS2 continues to have good hygiene.
