So for all of you who have a NGC did the mini disc help make buying the ngc easyer?
Was it the selling point?
IMHO the mini disc was ok, but even the smallest scrach was very bad for game play. what was with the over sized game boxes anyway?

The mini disc was never a factor in me buying the Nintendo Gamecube because in the end it's still a disc, which means it's still prone to scratches. It was actually annoying because had it used normal CD's like the PS2, Nintendo could have added DVD support and I wouldn't have had to spend more money to buy one. If anything it was a shortcoming for the system rather than a selling point.

i didnt actually like the small discs at all,, just thought the ps2 discs were just as good... and i dont think that a small disc would even be a good selling point ne ways

Very true. I got my NGC just for the Resident evil games.

I never thought of that. I bought mine becasue well..I could. I dont remember why. The discs did get easily scratched if they were left careless.
