Okay everyone, lets here your review on Halo 3. What was an up, and what was a down for you?
Rate stuff like graphics (from when you first played the game. Stuff has improved since then). Gameplay, sound, story, etc.
Overall Rating: 9.5
Graphics: 9.5
Sound: 8
Story: 10
Music: 10
Gameplay: 10
Halo 3 was the first game I ever played on my Halo 3 edition XBOX 360. I was extremely excited. And, when I watched the first cut scenes, I believed that I was watching real footage of trees. Yeah, have you ever noticed that something with improved graphics looks real when you first play it.. But when you plat it a few months later, it looks all computer animated. Wierd right?
Well, the setting seemed so real. I give props to the level designers. The whole feal of it was astounding.
The game play was pretty easy to get used to. Especially if you have played the previous games. It is your simple, easy to play, FPS. One where anyone can pick up and play. Unless they are unable to comprehend how to run and aim at the same time like my little cousin.
The music always fit the setting. It was quiet when needed. And loud and intense when the action began pumping through your viens.
The sound was really good. But, could have been better with some of the human rifles in my opinion. Especially the Assuslt Rifle. It sounds like a heavy duty air soft gun to me.
Many people still remain loyal to Halo. But a few have moved on sadly. Gears has become very popular. But, I'll save Gears for another review.
In my opinion, Halo is one of the very few on a minute list of games that would be suitable to make a movie out of. But, I dont think it should be focused primarily on Master Chief. I think it shoud focus on a few soldier enduring the battle of Reach for those long 5 years of bruitality and fear.
Halo 3 will be one of the items that will be set in a time box. It is seriously, on of the largest icons of the world. If you dont play Halo, you have a friend or close relative who does play it. Unless your in a country that does not have the luxury of electricity for everyone.
