well I started as a 249 saw gunner thats for squad automatic weapon and it holds 200 rounds by the drum, as my year went buy some guys left for the states and I got to be a B team leader there are two teams of 8 guys alpha and brovo, we did room clearing riot controle, and security for units on the dmz. at the north border. We had lots of time in the field and if I can get a camera Ill take a pic of my plack. Its got my QRF arm band and some other siht in a glass case. As I made team leader I got my weapon switched out for an M4 lazer sighted. Our commander was from SF and he was kool dude.

I love QRF thats what I was for a 5 months in Afghanistan. As for weapons I never had the saw but everything else. I was the 240 gunner while on foot. Done both 50 cal and mk 19 while in convoy, and with the scouts I carried the Barret.

I think QRF is a great name, either your quick or your dead... Also quick into a situation means a quick ending to a hostile situation... Just my opinion though...
