LEFT 4 DEAD 2
I'm not sure if I'm the only one whose sort of excited about this game and sort of disappointed by it. When I first saw the trailer on E3, my eyes popped out of my head. I was excited. L4D is my favorite X-box game [as those of you on my friends list, see I'm usually playing that daily x3] For those that haven't seen the trailer here you go. At the same time, I do not support the boycott that is going on. Sure, maybe this should of been a DLC instead of an entirely new game. The best example of course is GTA's Lost and Damned DLC. You get an entirely new game but only spend some MSP for it. We have to shell another fifty bucks for L4D2.
We do get a new set of survivors. Left to right: Nick, Rochelle, Coach, Ellis. Coach, a high-school football coach; Rochelle, a reporter for a local cable company; Ellis, a boy mechanic; and Nick, a gambler and conman. I will miss the other survivors =[ Zoey being my favorite. Won't miss Bill though =3 Coach should of gotten a more original name though, or a less cliché job with that nickname. But that's my opinion. We're set in the Southern United States, starting in Savannah, Georgia and ending up in New Orleans, Louisiana. So I guess it'll be in a more open area than some secluded parts in the original.
We do get FIVE new campaigns. They better be some damn good campaigns though. And apparently, the AI Director is better. Hopefully it will deliver what I've read. We get melee weapons now o.O A frying pan, an axe, baseball bat, and chainsaw. And there are supposed to be more, I think, along the way. Or well, they're supposed to release more information throughout Summer and Fall until the release. What I have a problem with is, it seems a little too Dead Rising to me. What, do we get a skateboard too and skate across Savannah with it? I mean seriously, you cannot kill a zombie with a frying pan. Then again, shooting a zombie's arm off won't kill it anyways. I'm very realistic when it comes to zombies [huge zombie fanatic].
We get the same Specials too =/ BUT! I think it's THREE new Specials will be announced =D One is the Charger. Which looks almost like a Tank. He's able to temporarily stun the survivors by body-charging them and moving incredibly fast, but is significantly weaker and easier to kill. We get a Wondering Witch though. Same Witch, but she'll be roaming around instead of just sitting there. That should prove interesting. I know me, I'll think it's just a normal zombie walking around, shoot at her and get fucked over -.- Which I've done in many cases already, even with her just sitting there D=< Teammates won't tell me if there is a Witch and I'm not listening for one, and BAM, fucking startled her. Also, don't run in the middle of me shooting! Jesus. Every time I'm trying to kill a zombie, someone has to run in front of me and I get blamed for friendly fire. [rant]
Well I don't know, anyone else have any views on this?

It seems way to soon for a sequel. Doubt i'll be getting unless it offers a huge difference from the first.

True. The game hasn't even been out for a year and they're throwing a sequel out. I will probably rent it before I buy it. No point in spending fifty on a game that may or may not be any good. Then again, I bought Vampire Rain for twenty -.-

I'm quite excited about this. The first was obviously great so i'm pretty confident the second will be too.
