Soulcalibur IV
The fourth entry in the classic weapons-based fighting series comes to Xbox 360.
Today in a store near you, that sells video games ofcoarse, you will find the fourth installment to one of the greatest fighting series of all time. Soulcalibur was originally that game you would find in the arcade and play for ours on end, putting in quarter after quarter until you finally reached the end.
In this new installment, every character in the game will have their own personal story that they will follow. Every single character will have their own reason for reaching their goal of retrieving the ultimate soul sword. Redemption, Pride, Power, Hate, Honor, etc.
You will see many familiar faces in the game from past games. But also, a few new faces as well. In this new installment, it has two characters that are seperated by consoles.
For the Playstation 3, you will play as a powerful man who is driven by fear. But, he now mre machine than man. You will be able to fight as an ultimate bad-ass, the Sith Lord, Darth Vader.
For the XBOX 360, you will be able to fight as a being of an unknown species. One as well as Vader, powerful in the force. He is driven by hope and wisdom; you will be able to disperse the evil of the Soul Sword as Grand Jedi Master Yoda.
Both of these characters are uniqe to their own consoles, and no, unfortanitly, you will not be able to download the opposite character for your console any time soon, if at all.
Which is the only bummer I see in this game.
But, lets say you do not wish to fight as any of these characters. Including Vader and Yoda... What do you do?!?
Well, you go into the character creation mode. From what I've read, you will have many many options to create a totally uniqe character that suits you. First character I'm gonna make though is Samurai Jack. Why!? He's cool, and probably the only character I could really be able to get 100% likeness.
But wait! It dosent end there. I left out a certain character that will be on both consoles. Yes, both consoles.
On September 16th, Star Wars The Force Unleashed will be released. In the game you will play as Jacob Nion, Vaders Secret Apprentice. And, in Soulcalibur IV, he will be one of the many characters to play as. But, I think you may have to unlock him... more than likely...
The game also includes multiplayer ofcoarse. But, lets say you live alone in the middle of nowhere like me... and the cost of gas has killed your social life. Meaning, you have no one to play this game with... Well, have no fear! The game will include online gameplay capabilities!
Well, thats all I have to say right now... I'm pretty tired now and heading off to bed. But, once I wake up, I going to go pick up this game because I pre-ordered it long ago! C-YA! ;D
