After Halo: Combat Evolved, Halo 2, and Halo 3, comes the next Halo game!
Halo Wars!
A quote from the official Halo Wars website:
The Game
Halo Wars is a real-time action strategy game for the Xbox 360 that allows the player to control large armies and to shrewdly direct them in realistic warfare. Set early in the iconic war between the Covenant and UNSC - made famous by the Halo FPS games - Halo Wars provides a new angle on the war while bringing new heroes to the battle.
In Halo Wars fans will be able to control armies of units that are familiar to them from the FPS games, such as UNSC Marines, Scorpion Tanks, and the iconic Warthog. Our E3 demo video gives a narrated first look at the game, and you can download it from our movies page.
So basically, instead of controlling one spartan you can control an intire army of marines, scorpions, warthogs, and spartans.

If you are wondering why I don't post Screenshots, that is because they are background size(1024x768) which is too large to post, it would stretch the forum width, and dial-up users would be pissed off.
The Controls
We've spent a great deal of time simply on getting the controls right. Halo Wars was created for the Xbox 360 from the ground up, which meant we didn't have to make compromises or shoe-horn in artifacts from a Windows PC game. We were able to take all the best aspects of RTS games, make them work perfectly on the Xbox 360, and exclude the rest.
So, Halo Wars is an Xbox 360 Exclusive.
What tells us that? That they will tune the Controls until they are perfect, and no need to upgrade your PC just to play it! No ****-ing around with installing a new graphics card, or a new harddrive, just plug-and-play!
The Developer
Halo Wars is currently under development at Ensemble Studios in Dallas, Texas. We are the developers behind the award winning Age of Empires series of real-time strategy games, and we're very excited to be able to work in the universe that our friends at Bungie have created.
A release date has not been announced for the game. Please visit our FAQ page for answers to common questions.
Yup, that's right, Ensemble Studios(the creators of Age of Empires) is making Halo Wars, with some help from Bungie(the creators of Halo 1,2,3).
Which means that most likely, it will become an Epic Pwnage Game.(or at least, that's what most Halo fans hope/expect)
And one last time, that I noticed is that (probabley) Pelicans can be controlled! Something Halo fans have begged for to come in a Halo game.(at least I did, xD)(for prove, watch the Demo video, and notice a pelican that's dropping off marines, and a pelican on the ground in the base, and look at several screenshots too, you see lots of Pelicans)
Here is a list of Linkies to Video's and some other stuff relating Halo Wars:
