Basic summary!
Based in the year of 2020, the USA, Russia and United States of Europe begin pokinh eachother with heavy sticks. Rising gas prices, failing economies, etc. The three nations are pitted against each other in the 3rd World War.
This game is a RTS, the covers the entire world. City by city though. A battle the covered the world would just be too big. Anyways...
How do you get a good RTS game to work with the console you wonder... hmmm?
Well, RTS are known for complex interfaces, that require quick access for those dire times of need. And, they have been seen only with either a birds eye view, or up from the heavens, chillen with God.
So, how do you get it to work on the console, and make it as realistic as possable to suit the Tom Clancy frachise?
You make the game controlled by voice command!
"Unit 1" *Unit 1 (Tank/infantry/gunship/etc.) responds*
"Move to" (Prepatory command)
"Point Alpha"
Unit one will then move to alphas location.
"Units 1, 2 and 3. Attack Enemy Unit 6"
Units 1, 2 and 3 attack unit number 6!
"Unit 1 (Infantry). Secure base alpha!"
Unit 1 secures the base on alphas location!
So now that we've got the commands covered, what about the view?
Well, the game will have the birds eye view for the players who are used to it and love it. But, there will be a command to change the views.
"Camera lock unit 1."
The camera will zoom in on unit 1 and follow the unit.
"Camera lock objective alpha." and so on etc.
But, this game isnt like all the others, when it comes to who has the bigger army. Even in the final stretch, where your enemy is cornered, they can still win. Enemy infantry hides in a building and becomes considerably more deadly. So what out!
It's like Mario Cart. You can be in the lead, in the final stretch and get hit by a turtle shell that nocks you out of the race!
During the battles, as you destroy enemys, and capture objectives, you will gain command points. These can be used to call in reinforcements such as tanks, artillery, infantry, gunships etc.
